It is my privilege to welcome you all this evening for the 14th Convocation day and Thanks Giving celebrations of “Throne of Grace Theological Seminary” and Global Theological Open University.

As you all know this Seminary and Ministries was founded by Bishop Dr.Ch. David John in December 1995 under the Open University Scheme offering Distance Theological Education. This is an off campus, External Degree Program for those who are committed and could not afford to leave their work or Ministry. Our aim is to Educate and Motivate students for effective evangelistic work and to provide systematic and scholarly guidance.

We offer the following correspondence courses:

a)To provide continuing education for Pastors, Evangelists and Bible Teachers.

a)To equip the professionals, businessmen and lay leaders for the Ministry.

The Courses are

B.Th / B.Min /B.A. / B.D / M.A./ M.B.S/ M.Th / M.Div /M.Music/ MRE / D.D./ D.Th/ D.Miss/ D.Litt/ D.Min / Ph.D etc.

The TGTSM is affiliated to AEGA Ministries, Evangel Christian University in Louisiana, U.S.A.

So far we have more than 1000 Students enrolled for various courses throughout India and abroad. We have good response from all over India and the neighboring countries like Nepal, Bhutan, and Burma and also from U.S.A., students all over are satisfied with our curriculum and the course materials. They say that the materials is very easy to understand and follow deleting the unwanted material.

Some of them said that their dreams and prayers came true by getting degrees through correspondence courses from our seminary.
